Abacus-Mental Math

Abacus mental math is a methodology of learning calculations through abacus tool which uses hand movement to engrave arithmetic functions in a child's mind and later visualization to embed the method in the brains and as part of a child's daily life. It uses a gadget less method. Abacus teaches a form of calculation that does not involve the use of any physical instruments, nor a calculator neither any other device including the abacus is used, that is, once the concept is learned using the tool, the child will move towards calculation through visualization.

The students are taught different arithmetic functions on the abacus using classroom teaching (online or on-campus), interactive board and card games, competitions and engaging activities. The tool Abacus is only used when introducing a new concept and while embedding the concepts in our brains. Once the habit of using this methodology is developed, it can be inculcated in their daily life. The complex calculation occurs in a child's mind only, without any external assistance.
