According to researches by Late Bharati Krishna Tirthaji who belonged to ancient India, mathematics is based on 16 sutras or word formulas. The formulas are made according to the way human brain works thus it greatly helps a child to do complex calculations. This organized system is called Vedic Math. The methods used in Vedic Maths are complementary, direct, and easier as compared to modern mathematics.
The combination of 34 formulas which helps solve mathematical problems of addition, subtraction, division, square, cube, square root, cube root, fraction, result verification techniques, tables making, method, speed, average and time calculation formulas is the Vedic Math programme.
The programme is specially designed to build interest of children in mathematic by stimulating different activities like brain games, brain gym etc.
